Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to maintain clean facilities and assist customers and drivers, ensuring safe, efficient travel for the highway community.

You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support roadside services. This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and participating in rotating day/night shifts; DOT medical card is paid by Love’s.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Safety-conscious approach aligned with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions
