Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Domino, Texas is seeking Diesel Technicians to maintain our high standards of service. In this fast-paced role, you will troubleshoot mechanical issues, assist travelers with roadside needs, and ensure the safety of our customers.

Working with a rotating schedule, you'll be part of the family-owned and operated team that's been serving customers since 1964, backed by competitive benefits and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Experience with mechanical systems, including light repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.

Diesel Technicians work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel‑end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
