Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical systems, including electrical components, suspensions, A/C, and engine parts. You will assist customers with roadside services and provide routine preventive maintenance to keep trucks moving efficiently.

Candidates must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varied temperatures, and follow safety policies. The role includes rotating day/night shifts and potential eligibility for a DOT medical card funded by

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as part of diesel tech duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance services to keep vehicles in good condition.
• Assist customers with roadside services and ensure customer safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
