Interstate Ford Dacono is seeking a Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to join our team in Colorado. You will perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment, while staying motivated to learn and grow with the team.

The role emphasizes hands-on service, customer-focused communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with ongoing training and development opportunities at a respected Ford dealership.

Qualifications

• Ford Certification required or in-progress.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in fleet or dealership service work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Team-oriented with customer-first mindset.
• Self-motivated and professional in conduct.
• Must possess personal tools for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to Ford diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe operation, plan procedures and perform repairs.
• Follow checklists; inspect critical parts and safety devices.
• Test-drive to verify performance and quality of work.
• Attend training and review factory bulletins for updates.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
• Complete services and repairs as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety requirements and published procedures.
• Engage in training as assigned by management.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace.
• Ensure guest vehicles are returned clean after service.
• Demonstrate courtesy to guests, visitors, and staff.
• Assist in achieving production objectives set by management.
• Comply with labor operations, timekeeping, and warranty documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment

• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to resolve malfunction, and plan work procedures

• Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined

• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed

• Test-drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly

• Tag all warranty parts and returns to parts

• Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness

• Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by supervisor

• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures

• Participate in, and utilize to the best of one’s abilities, technical training as assigned by management

• Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner

• Ensure guest vehicles are returned as clean as they were prior to being serviced

• Show the utmost courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel

• Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management

• Adhere to manufacturer’s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications

• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management

Qualifications

• Ford Certification

• Previous experience in a Ford dealership

• At least 1 year of Fleet or Dealership experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team

• Self-motivated and professional

• Possess own tools
