Job summary

Crete Carrier Corporation in Lincoln, NE is seeking a skilled Diesel/Equipment Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, engines, electrical components, steering, transmissions, drive trains, tires, and refrigeration equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, establish positive relationships, maintain attendance, and handle other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in reading manuals and MS Office is valued; candidates should demonstrate timely repairs and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are needed.
• Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues and read service/repair manuals.
• Capable of performing repairs in a timely fashion and reading work orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
