Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a part-time, temporary technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, transmissions, drive trains, and tires on tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment.

The role involves performing preventative maintenance, following service manuals, and maintaining timely work orders while ensuring safety in a noisy, odor-rich shop environment. Strong reading, writing, and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing a Diesel Technology degree.
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills.

• Performs preventative maintenance services, including changing oil, checking fluids, inspecting batteries, testing lights, and lubricating equipment.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program and actively pursuing a degree in Diesel Technology.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
• Must be able to inspect the vehicle to determine repairs needed
• Good vision to inspect repair work
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections

Safety shoes (steel or composite toe) required

Work Environment

The nature of the environment is one in which the employee may come in contact with outside weather conditions, vibration, and moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or extreme heat, and excessive noise levels.
