Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic in Fargo, ND to maintain and repair medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety/compliance standards are met.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with weekly pay, benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for career advancement nationwide. CDL preferred at hire and a toolbox you own is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to meet physical demands (lifting, bending, etc.).

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 (based on CDL Holder at the time of hire)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every FridaySchedule:

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ of hands‑on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
