Job summary

West Direct Oil in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Fleet Fuel Driver to ensure timely diesel fuel deliveries in a safety‑driven environment. You will operate a diesel tanker, complete delivery tickets, and maintain accurate logs while adhering to regulations.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials endorsement and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; we offer weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials endorsement & Medical Card.
• Must be able to drive a standard transmission.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a diesel tanker truck to transport and deliver fuel to clients.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of fuel according to customer specifications.
• Inspect and maintain the fuel tanker truck, including pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving and hazardous materials transportation.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any accidents or safety incidents promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers to foster long-term business.
• Complete and submit accurate delivery documentation, trip sheets, fuel tickets and inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries and vehicle mileage.
