Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift at our Wisconsin location. You will diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines and chassis components using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring top-quality service for Peterbilt trucks.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. We offer extensive in-house training, multiple benefit plans, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with diagnostic equipment to determine root causes of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on driveline and chassis components (clutches, hubs, diffs, fifth wheels, suspension, brakes, transmissions).
• Apply OEM procedures and identify parts and tools.
