Job summary

Sapp Bros. is seeking Diesel Technicians to keep our customers on the road with comprehensive diesel repair and maintenance services.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and service semi-tractors and trailers, replace tires, and perform emergency roadside work while delivering professional, efficient customer experiences. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 1+ years of diesel or automotive repair experience; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• 1+ years of experience in diesel or automotive repair preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Focus on safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues in semi-tractors and trailers.
• Replace and balance tires according to procedures.
• Repair or replace starters, generators, brakes, and universal joints.
• Complete work orders and communicate service needs to customers.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, including tire service.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance the workforce.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do
