Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician II in Geismar, LA. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair systems, and ensure DOT compliance to keep a large North American fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role offers structured training, advancement opportunities, and modern equipment. This hands-on position requires 1–5 years of diesel experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Qualificações

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass background check, MVR, drug screen, and physical per safety requirements.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers


• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems


• Complete truck and trailer inspections


• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services


• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems


• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements


• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately


• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance


• and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection


• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs


• Valid Driver's License


• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
