Rush Truck Leasing is seeking a Diesel Technician in Houston to provide service to our customers, perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and engines, and install components according to manuals.
You will read job orders, inspect vehicles, replace parts, and participate in training to stay current with factory bulletins. The role requires a high school diploma, 5 years in Class 7/8 tech roles, and a valid driver license; CDL/Medical card are preferred but not required.
A Diesel Technician is responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This can include: cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.
