Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desirable.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime across a varied fleet including aerial lifts, pumps, HVAC and power generators.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while following established procedures.
