Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair engine and related vehicle problems.
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred for on-site repairs.

JOB SUMMARY_

Performs preventive maintenance, problem diagnostics, and repairs on Company vehicles and equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES___________________________________________________________________

Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment operations problems, diagnoses and subsequently makes repairs

Performs preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to standard schedules.

Adjusts, repairs or replaces parts and equipment.

Attends safety meetings and classes.

Maintains tools and equipment.

Maintains a safe and tidy shop.

Welds and fabricates parts as needed.

Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPLEXITY__________________________________________________________________________

The work consists of related vehicle and equipment maintenance duties. The variety of equipment to be maintained contributes to the complexity of the position.
