Swift Transportation in Denver is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and refrigerated units. The role offers a pay range of $26–$32 per hour based on experience, with Tuesday-Sunday, 8:30 AM–5 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read repair manuals and complete repair orders.
• Experience with diagnostic software used on tractors/trailers.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment to OEM/DOT specifications.
• Disassemble and repair heavy truck and trailer components; including engines, transmissions, axles, refrigerated units.
• Perform tire maintenance and related repairs.
• Offsite repairs and minor to mid-level roadside assistance as directed.
• Test drive equipment if certified; maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist others in achieving organizational objectives.
