Clean Harbors in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to service our fleet across branch locations. The role can also suit a diesel mechanic transitioning to mobile work, focused on preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

You'll work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for training, certification, and growth. Travel up to 70% within the territory is required; a valid driver's license and basic tools are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years experience on heavy-duty trucks/equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Willing to travel within assigned territory up to 70%.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company fleet at branch locations.
• Inspect equipment and identify unsatisfactory conditions.
• Complete required PM paperwork and maintain driver status as needed.
• Travel to other locations to service equipment as required.
• Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Clean Harbors Cincinnati, OH is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! The right candidate can also be a diesel mechanic willing to train and grow into the mobile mechanic position. This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch locations throughout the area.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Correct all equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company owned equipment as directed by management.
• Ability to perform thorough inspection of equipment and identify unsatisfactory condition.
• Full compliance with mandatory PPE requirements during all work-related activities and tasks
• Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as required.
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.
• Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per mobile vehicle type.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.

• Ability to determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections, scheduled PM's and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts & replacement as needed.
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.
