ADP, Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic in Batesville, AR to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems on heavy equipment.

The role involves routine maintenance, safety compliance, and detailed record-keeping for each vehicle or machine. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostic tools, and the ability to work with a team to ensure timely repairs in varied weather conditions.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel injection systems, and hydraulics
• Proficiency in reading schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel systems, hydraulics, and exhaust systems
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each vehicle or machine
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
