Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Diesel Mechanic to support inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment in our Ohio shop.

You will diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, driveline systems, brakes, and hydraulics, while maintaining accurate records and safety compliance. The role emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and the ability to work overtime and travel to field sites as needed to keep equipment operating safely

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline, and hydraulics with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safe repairs in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrate accuracy in maintenance records and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, driveline, brake, and hydraulic issues.
• Replace worn tires, clutches, brakes, and mechanical components.
• Overhaul diesel engines, differentials, and drivetrains as needed.
• Troubleshoot major electrical system problems and document repairs.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and assist field operations as required.
