Job summary

Atomic Transport, LLC, a Chattanooga-based bulk hauling company, seeks an A Tech with strong diagnostic skills and hands-on repair experience. The role includes diagnosing wiring and exhaust systems, performing truck and trailer repairs, and providing roadside assistance as needed.

Applicants should have a valid license, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and pass pre-employment screening. CDL-A is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• Own basic hand tools; specialty tools provided.
• CDL Class A preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wiring and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Perform truck and trailer repairs, minor to major.
• Conduct roadside service calls.
• Use diagnostic software: Cummins Insite, quick servers, Diagnostic-Link, PTT, Bendix, Allison.
• Maintain repair records and safety standards.
• Share repair skills with teammates.
