Qualifications

• High School or GED required; degree conferred by start date.
• At least 1 year of related experience in diesel mechanics.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred; ASE certs within a year.
• ASE certifications in brakes, steering & suspension, and HVAC for cars/light trucks within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose diesel engines and related systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Work independently or as part of a team to resolve mechanical problems.
• Demonstrate physical stamina to lift heavy parts and operate equipment safely.
• Communicate clearly and document maintenance actions.
