Job summary

Central Transport LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractors, diagnose issues, and repair trucks and trailers to keep our fleet on the road. You should have at least 1 year of experience, a basic toolset, and ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• Basic set of tools required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractors including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment in a timely manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, batteries, and lubrication.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components like engines, transmissions, and differentials.
