Maintenance
Fleet Maintenance Manager/Supervisor
As Assigned
Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime) — This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, meaning the employee is entitled to overtime pay at one and one-half times the regular rate for all hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek.
Full-time; 40 hours per week; schedule as assigned; extended days and hours required as operational needs dictate.
This position carries no supervisory responsibility.
The Mechanic is responsible for the proper repair, maintenance, and operational readiness of all company vehicles and equipment across fleet and field operations. This position diagnoses mechanical failures, performs corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensures that all assigned equipment meets company safety and performance standards. The Mechanic works in both shop and field environments, coordinating with management and support personnel to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational continuity. This role contributes directly to the safety, regulatory compliance, and productivity of company operations.
The following duties are considered essential functions of this position. Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational or trade school training in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanics is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and directly related hands-on experience will be considered.

Work time is divided between indoor shop environment and outdoor or field locations

Regular exposure to dust generated by vehicle and equipment operations
Fume and Odor Exposure
Regular exposure to fumes and offensive smells associated with mechanical repair activities
Chemical Exposure
Regular contact with fuels, grease, oil, and other mechanical fluids and solvents
Moving Mechanical Parts
Frequent close proximity to moving mechanical components and operating equipment
