Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC is seeking multiple Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose, and repair our commercial vehicles at the Madison, IL facility. The role includes tire program duties and opportunities across several shifts.

Ideal candidates will have diesel technician experience and customer service skills, with 7–11 months of related experience and up to 6 months in a supervisory capacity. Excellent benefits and training programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with related training; 7–11 months of related experience and/or training; 1–6 months of related management experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within the specified Service Repair Times (SRT).
• Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Inspect, grade, change and repair commercial vehicle tires as part of the Tire Program.
