Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a diesel-truck mechanic to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, axles, suspension, electrical, and air systems on diesel tractors. The role requires advanced hand tools, a rollaway toolbox, ½ drive impact and sockets, and a digital volt/ohm/amp meter.

Qualifications

Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on diesel tractors as per work orders and inspections.
Provide customer guidance and explanations to drivers on technical questions about their tractors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and properly document repairs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on diesel tractors per work orders.
Operate tractors to position them for service and return to the lot after repairs.
