WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Taunton, MA to repair and maintain our fleet. Positions include a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and both full-time or part-time options. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Or 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with fleet maintenance is a plus.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
• Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Diesel Mechanic who will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
• Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs

Experience, Education, Certification:

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.

Physical Requirements:

• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
• Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
