Job summary

Olander Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Diesel Technician to keep our fleet moving by performing preventive maintenance, inspections and major repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.

You will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using modern diagnostic software, prepare accurate work orders and help manage parts inventory, while maintaining a safe, organized shop in compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum (2-5) years of verifiable heavy-duty diesel repair and diagnostic experience.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license. Required
• Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit or similar diesel engine platforms.
• Tools: Basic hand tools
• Education: High School diploma or GED: ASE Certifications are highly valued and rewarded.
