Job summary

TSP Talent in Shelton, CT is seeking a Diesel Truck & Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel trucks and related equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct safety checks, respond to breakdowns, document inspections and repairs in fleet maintenance software, and keep accurate records of work and materials.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across major diesel systems (electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brakes, and air).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety inspection procedures.
• Ability to work effectively on complex mechanical and system-level issues.
• Proficiency with fleet maintenance documentation and software.
