United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) in Pasco, WA to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on rental equipment. You’ll work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems while maintaining thorough work orders and supporting equipment demonstrations for customers.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset; ownership of tools and a safety-focused approach are required for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate
• Must own tools applicable to position
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
