Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic in Milton, FL to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. You will complete work orders with proper coding, describe conditions, causes, and corrections, and ensure warranty processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostics experience focused on fleet equipment.
• Experience with tractor and trailer inspection and repair or a technical school degree/certification in diesel Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds on fleet components.
• Inform management of unsafe conditions and suggest corrective actions.
• Identify and report broken tools and supplies; take steps to resolve issues.
• Complete complex work orders with condition, cause, and correction details; process warranty returns as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment complying with policies and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

As a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic at Ecowaste Solutions, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. Your responsibilities will include completing work orders with proper coding such as reason for repair, detailed description of condition, cause, and correction, as well as properly completing the warranty process. Safety, accuracy and attention to detail are critical in these roles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds fleet equipment components correctly.
• Informs management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices, and suggests corrective actions.
• Identifies and informs management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and takes steps to solve issue if possible.
• Correctly completes complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Performed additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid state issued CDL driver's license preferred
• Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with specialty in Diesel.
• Experience in advanced diagnostics.
