Qualifications

• Willingness to learn diesel, truck and refrigeration repair.
• Hands-on mechanical experience from any relevant industry.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Technical-school education may substitute for work experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial trucks and trailers
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Repair brakes, suspension components, lighting and trailer equipment
• Document repairs and communicate findings to the service team
• Learn diesel and transport refrigeration systems through hands-on training
