Job summary

Moffitt Services in Texas is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections and preventative maintenance, and keep accurate logs. The role requires working with hydraulics, brakes, engines, and electrical systems, plus welding or cutting as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Maintenance of hydraulics, air brakes, steering and suspension, lighting, diesel engines, A/C, fluids and oil changes.
• Welding and cutting parts using arc-welding and flame-cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance including hydraulics, air brakes, steering and suspension, lighting, electric, diesel engine, air conditioning, fluid levels and oil changes, and general repairs and maintenance.
• Reconditioning and replacing parts.
• May weld and cut parts using arc-welding and flame-cutting equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and equipment.
• Completing maintenance logs and work orders.

Moffitt Services is looking to expand our team. We are currently hiring a Diesel Mechanic who will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; and keeping records.
