Diesel Mechanic
Position Summary

The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks, trailers, and/or heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct engine overhauls, brake system repairs, transmission work, and other necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
