Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. provides transport services and maintains a fleet to deliver home-to-school bus transportation for students in Eastern Massachusetts, Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, while communicating with clients and drivers to ensure safe, reliable transportation. The role includes inspecting vehicles, preparing quotes, and logging all work.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanic experience.
• High school diploma.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
• Liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibility Profile

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

Pay range: $30-$35 p/h depending on experience.
