Airgas Nitrogen Services, LLC in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel tractors and related systems. The role requires inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and traveling as needed to job sites to ensure DOT safety standards are met.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with hourly pay ranging from $28.00 to $31.00. Valid DL required; some tools may be provided by the employee.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience.
• Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment.
• Ideally, you bring a basic hand tools.
• Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License (non CDL).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized systems to meet DOT standards and safety protocols.
• Identify and implement solutions for equipment flow and maintenance reporting.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold a proactive safety and maintenance culture.

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Pay: $28.00 - 31.00/hour

Travel: As required to repair pumping equipment on work sites and district shops to assist in maintaining equipment

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience


• Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment.


• Ideally, you bring a basic hand tools.


• Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance.


• Valid Driver’s License (non CDL).

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience.


• Familiarity or interest in cryogenics.


• Familiarity or interest in hydraulics.


• Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification is a plus (Not Required).
