Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on a range of vehicles under supervision. You will work with a team to diagnose and fix issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a willingness to learn, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines. On-site position with opportunities for growth within a dairy-farm family environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience without certificate required; mechanic certifications and CDL-A preferred.
• Refrigeration license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to desired performance levels.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards.
• Keep management informed of safety, operator and equipment observations and concerns.
• Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately.
• Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify process improvements.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE as required.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management.
