Job summary

A leading fleet management company in Richmond, VA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain fleet diesel equipment. This full-time role offers a competitive pay scale of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience, alongside benefits including paid time off, insurance coverage, and performance raises. Ideal candidates possess a High School Diploma, have 3+ years of relevant experience, and are able to lift significant weight. A clean driving record is also necessary for this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or fleet maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Possesses own tools as per minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and overhaul fleet diesel equipment.
• Complete documentation for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Operate company vehicle for roadside service calls.
• Install and repair onboard computers and cameras.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

Ability to diagnose and repair diesel equipment
