Carew Concrete & Supply Co., Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain our fleet of trucks and equipment. You will handle preventative maintenance, field service work and on-site repairs to keep a busy operation running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has Diesel equipment/ heavy truck experience, can read maintenance manuals, work safely, and communicate clearly with shop staff. We offer competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel equipment and heavy trucks.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Comfortable reading and following maintenance manuals and procedures.
• Willingness to respond to service calls in the field.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong safety mindset and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, axles, gearboxes, brakes and hydraulics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Weld, fabricate and repair components as needed.
• Respond to service calls and perform field repairs.
