Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Commerce City, CO is seeking a skilled fleet mechanic to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. The role includes road call work, PMs, and documentation of all repairs in the digital work order system.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, inspect braking and steering systems, install onboard computers, and mentor other staff. Excellent shift timing (Sun-Thu 2:30pm-11pm) and a competitive hourly wage with a $5,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose repairs on fleet diesel equipment.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheels and related components for proper operation.
• Ensure roadworthiness through licensing and registrations and document work orders.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Train other employees and perform road call service as needed.
