Mission Linen Supply seeks a Diesel/Fleet Mechanic in Sacramento to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and air brakes. The role focuses on keeping vehicles safe and reliable, with attention to efficiency and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, be able to work independently or in a team, and may have prior auto shop experience or trade schooling.

Qualifications

• Valid DMV and clean driving record is required.
• Prior auto shop experience or trade school preferred.
• Willingness to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair systems on commercial vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Test and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Operate automotive repair tools and equipment.
• Suggest improvements to preventive maintenance for ROI.
• Follow company preventive maintenance program.
• Diesel and Ford experience is helpful but not required.
