Job summary

Meadow Gold is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles in a factory- and field-like setting. You will diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic systems and ensure compliance with DOT and company guidelines.

The role includes preventative maintenance, safety, and paperwork handling. Shift is M-F, 9:00am-5:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Refrigeration license preferred.
• Experience with brake systems; Bendix/WABCO certification preferred.
• Pre‑employment drug, background and criminal checks required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in dusty, greasy environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, component replacements, and minor repairs.
• Maintain, repair, inspect, and/or replace brakes, steering, suspensions, lights and HVAC components.
• Diagnose minor mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer systems.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of the complaint and complete work orders.
• Work in compliance with DOT and company guidelines and SOPs.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and wear required PPE.
