Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and forestry equipment.
• Reassemble machines after repair and test operation; adjust as needed.
• Inspect equipment, read reports, and diagnose malfunctions with customers.
• Dismantle defective machines using hand and power tools.
• Test and replace electrical components and wiring with meters and soldering tools.
• Repair or replace parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment.
• Clean, lubricate parts, and tune or overhaul engines.
• Assemble and inspect new equipment.
• Record repairs and parts used.
• Drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site repair of large machinery.
