Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic for our Atlanta-area service team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction and rental equipment in a safe, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel/gas engines.
• Experience with Tier 4 engines, DPF, SCR, EGR aftertreatment systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy construction and rental equipment.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Use diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Operate safely following Sunstate safety standards.
