Job summary
Pavement Preservation Group is urgently hiring Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians in Texas. Earn between $25.00 and $40.00 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Sign-on bonus opportunities and career growth are available.
Applicants must have at least 2 years of diesel repair or heavy equipment experience. CDL-A and tanker endorsement are preferred. Responsibilities include preventive and emergency repairs, inspections, and maintenance of fleet vehicles and construction
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in diesel repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to supply and maintain required tools for standard repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance; maintain records and work orders.
- Assist with parts procurement and inventory; operate diagnostic and welding equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with DOT regulations.
