• 3+ years post qualification experience.
• Extensive knowledge in the repair and maintenance of Heavy diesel engines.
• Strong Diagnostics work background; ability to troubleshoot and accurately diagnose work.
• Superior time management skills, attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, responsible team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining and repairing all trucks, trailers, forklifts and other equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and ensures that they are repaired in a proper and cost effective manner.
• Prioritizes and sets goals based on importance of project that needs attention.
• Inspects and documents the maintenance performed on equipment.
• Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment.
• Ensures safety functions on equipment are operating properly.
• Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.
• Completes required safety training.
