Job summary

Ziegler Inc. in Minnesota invites student interns to join as Intern Technician, diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop setting. You will learn hands-on troubleshooting under expert supervision while contributing to service quality.

You will be mentored by senior technicians, develop real-world mechanical skills through hands-on work, and participate in the scholarship and internship program designed to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades and receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Own mechanic tool set and ability to work as part of a team.
• This role is safety-sensitive and will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment.
• Learn to respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Develop real-world mechanical skills through scholarship money and paid internships.
