Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, &/or ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install various engine components and related parts.
• Read job orders and diagnose vehicle issues.
• Examine trucks for safety and performance standards.
• Tag warranty parts.
• Attend training and build customer relationships.
