Job summary

Cleveland Brothers seeks a Construction Equipment Shop Technician to perform diesel engine and machinery repairs across mining, construction and paving sectors. The role includes maintenance of shop equipment, and applying coatings/finish work as needed, with training and specialized tools provided.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy equipment, diesel systems, hydraulics, and electronics, plus basic computer skills for diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Hydraulics, electronics, and related systems understanding.
• Intermediate computer skills for diagnostic software and maintenance records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of shop equipment and painting operations.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, including diesel engines and major components.
• Overhaul engines and other major systems; ensure safety and quality checks.
