Job summary

VEGAS BUS AND AUTO SERVICE LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Bus and Auto Mechanic/CNG Tech to join our busy repair shop. As a Diesel Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair issues with vehicles’ performance and function.

You must understand all vehicle systems, maintain equipment, prepare cost estimates, and keep a welcoming shop environment. The ideal candidate communicates clearly with customers, explains issues concisely, and offers reliable advice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or auto service tech training preferred.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles entering the shop.
• Perform routine maintenance: tires, oil changes, brakes, and A/C repair.
• Inspect engine, transmission, and braking systems in depth.
• Create repair estimates and timelines for customers in clear terms.
• Maintain repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
