Job summary

Pearson-Ford is seeking a Diesel Apprentice Technician to join our service team in Indiana. The role focuses on learning to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy- and medium-duty diesel trucks in a fast-paced environment, under expert supervision.

As part of a Ford dealership family, you will receive hands-on training, access to factory bulletins, and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma and a willingness to learn are required, with ASE or CDL credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL certification preferred.
• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Teammate with dedication to customer service and the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to resolve malfunction.
• Follow checklists and inspect critical parts.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Attend training and review factory technical bulletins.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to increase happiness.
• Complete all work per safety requirements and procedures.
• Maintain organized workspace and ensure guests' vehicles are clean.
