Dauch Corporation in the Detroit area seeks a Die Setter to safely make highly complex setups on hydraulic and mechanical equipment in molding and sizing operations with minimal assistance.

You will operate equipment, adjust to quality standards, use measuring tools to maintain control conditions, and contribute to continuous process improvement. Strong attendance and teamwork are essential in this role on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience required.
• 5+ years experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely make highly complex setups, initial sample complex setups on hydraulic and mechanical equipment in molding and sizing operations with minimal assistance.
• Efficiently operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions
• Provide active input to continuous process improvement
• Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors and others with a need to know.
• Maintain relationships with other functional areas
• Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position
